As part of an oral history course at Syracuse University, I took the opportunity to record the stories of my good friend, Zbigniew Bzdak. Zbig and I have worked together at three different places over the last fifteen years — I knew he had some great stories to tell. Thanks to Professor Gladys McCormick for her kind oversight.
This summer I worked at the San Francisco Chronicle as a multimedia consultant. Most of my time was spent producing an iPad video series called The Herb Caen Files. I also produced a handful of quick-turn news videos, including this one covering the funeral services for two fallen San Francisco firefighters.
Last summer I had the privilege of working with Rusty Oatman and Jeff Bradbury a couple times. We produced this short video about the equestrian industry in Central New York for a local client. Lots of fun all the way around. Besides being exceptionally talented, Rusty and Jeff are great people. I love working with great people. (Update: just found out this piece is the winner of a Telly Award.)
